Scott Minerd is one of the Managing Partners at Guggenheim, as well as the company's Chief Information Officer.

On Wednesday, December 21, 2022, Scott died unexpectedly after a heart attack during his daily workout.

"I have known Scott for over 30 years and we were partners for much of that time," stated Guggenheim Partners CEO and co-founder Mark Walter.

Guggenheim Investments would not be the worldwide powerhouse it is now without Scott's contributions as a key inventor and thought leader.

Scott became a managing partner at Guggenheim shortly after the company was founded. He was a popular TV and social media analyst on financial matters.

Scott helped create Guggenheim Investments' organization, systems, and procedures, making it a strong, scalable asset management leader.

Scott became the firm's public speaker, a senior leader, and a mentor to Guggenheim Investments employees, many of whom he recruited.
