A listeria outbreak attached to deli meat and cheese has sickened 16 individuals in 6 states, including Massachusetts.

According to the specialists, the vast majority of those sickened due to Listeria were hospitalized immediately.

One sickness brought about the loss of pregnancy, and one sickness brought about death as per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

As per authorities, preliminary data shows that deli meat and cheese bought at deli counters in various states are the possible sources of this outbreak

But, examiners said, it's hard to distinguish a solitary food as the source of outbreaks connected to deli meats and cheeses.

Two individuals sickened were from Massachusetts and the others were from New York, Maryland, Illinois, New Jersey and California.

The person who died from Listeria Outbreak is from Maryland, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The CDC forewarned that the genuine number of sick individuals is reasonably higher than the number detailed.

Different states could be affected because certain individuals recover without clinical consideration and are not tested for Listeria.
