Kohberger, a teaching assistant and Ph.D. student in criminal justice and criminology at Washington State University, is 28 years old.

He had concluded his first semester at the Pullman, Washington, campus, which is roughly 15 minutes west of Moscow, Idaho, where the murders took place.

According to his attorney, he and his father made the trip back to Pennsylvania for the holidays on December 17th.

A police officer arrested Kohberger early on Friday morning at his residence with his parents in Chestnut hill Township, Pennsylvania.

Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin were found dead in Moscow, Idaho, on Nov. 13.

All four victims had been stabbed several times, and it appears they were asleep when they were attacked, according to autopsies.

The motive and if the culprit knew the victims are unknown. Once Kohberger appears in court in Idaho, we may get some answers.
