Chesapeake Walmart shooting: Sources know the name of the manager of the Virginia Walmart where 6 people were shot and killed.

Andre Bing, 31, has been identified as the Walmart manager who killed six people and himself Tuesday night.

According to the sources, Bing was a "team lead" for the overnight shift at the Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Police have not said who the shooter is in public. On Wednesday morning, they told reporters that they had not yet found the shooter's family.

However, Chief Mark Solesky of the Chesapeake Police Department stated that the shooter was an employee at the business.

In response to a request for comment regarding the identify of the shooter, the police department did not provide a response.

There is still no clear explanation as to why the attack was carried out, and what was the motive behind the attack.

At 10:12 p.m., or less than an hour before the Walmart Supercenter was supposed to close, the killing spree began.

The police chief said that four people who were hurt in the attack were still in the hospital on Wednesday morning.

At least two were in severe condition, said Sentara Norfolk General Hospital's, Dr. Michael Hooper.
